D3D Aerial Mapping were commissioned to provide the base information for the detailed design of the new runway at Dublin airport and to provide 3D attributed detail and spot heights for an accurate computer visualisation of an area covering over 46,000 acres. The aerial mapping covered several mapping scales ranging from 1:500 to 1:2500. This work was completed in accordance with the requirements of the DAA Dublin Airport Authority and the IAA Irish Aviation Authority.
